    Mapping for DataPlus Import
    • If you are using an existing Act database you will need to manually create the following fields in Act as illustrated in KB Article 64
      Act Company Level
      1. eCustomerID
      2. eVendorID

      Act Contact Level
      1. eCustomerID
      2. eVendorID
      3. eContactID
      4. eSalespersonID
      5. eEmployeeID
        (eEmployeeID is only necessary if you are using the Payroll Module)
    • Once you have created the ID fields in Act
      1. Populate the ID fields with the associated data from Sage as sampled below
      2. Backup your Act database
      3. Perform a manual DataPlus import
      4. DataPlus will create additional fields in both Company and Contact levels in Act
        There are specific fields that need to be manually created before performing the import as instructed in KB Article 64
    • If you are using the DataPlus Act empty database we provided you, the fields already exist.


    Mapping Act & Sage 100: DataPlus Import

      Act Company Level
    1. DataPlus imports Customer data from Sage 100 to Act Customer, it uses the Sage 100 Customer No and the Act eCustomerID field.
    2. DataPlus imports Vendor data from Sage 100 to Act Vendor, it uses the Sage 100 Vendor No and the Act eVendorID field.

      Act Contact Level

    3. DataPlus imports Customer data from Sage 100 to Act Customer, it uses the Sage 100 Customer No and the Act eCustomerID field.
    4. DataPlus imports Vendor data from Sage 100 to Act Vendor, it uses the Sage 100 Vendor No and the Act eVendorID field.
    5. DataPlus imports Contact data from Sage 100 to Act Contact, it uses the Sage 100 Contact No and the Act eContactID field.
    6. DataPlus imports Salesperson data from Sage 100 to Act Salesperson, it uses the Sage 100 Salesperson No and the Act eSalespersonID field.
    7. DataPlus imports Employee data from Sage 100 to Act Employee, it uses the Sage 100 Employee No and the Act eEmployeeID field.
