PROGRAM: DataPlus for QuickBooks - Client Installation
What you need prior to installation.
  1. Sage ACT! Premium
  2. SQL Permission to DataPlus SQL database
What you need for installation.
  1. FILE: DataPlus-QB-Install.exe
Approximant Time Table
  • 5 minutes - Documentation Review
  • 2 minutes - Approximant Time for Client Installation
  • 2 minutes - Approximant Time for Client Configuration
  • 9 minutes - Total Approximant Time for Client Installation & Configuration
DataPlus 4.0 Client Installation
    Welcome Screen
  1. Right click 'DataPlus-QB-Install.exe' and "Run as administrator"
  2. Click on Next >
    License Agreement
  1. If you agree, click on "I accept the terms in the license agreement"
  2. Click on Next >
    Choose Components
  1. Check 'Client Components'
  2. Click on Next >
    Choose Location
  1. Choose the folder in which to install DataPlus 4.0
  2. Click on Install
    Installation Complete
  1. Click on Next


DataPlus 4.0 Setup and Configuration
    Client Configuration
  1. CHECK to run Server Configuration
  2. Click on Finish
    Unable To Find Connection String
  1. Do you wish to create a new settting file?
  2. Click on Yes
    Client Configuration Manager
  1. DataPlus Server; ServerName
  2. DataPlus Database; DatabaseName
  3. SQL User: sa
  4. SQL Password: password
  5. Check if you want integrated security
  6. Test Connection
  7. Click on Save
  8. Click on Close
