DataPlus Push - Trouble Shooting
Push to Microsoft Dynamics GP

    Push Menu not available
  1. In ACT!
  2. Tools/DataPlus 4.0/Manage Permissions
Cause 1
  1. MDGP Push permissions not checked
  2. Check MDGP Push for each level of user.
  3. Click Save
  4. Click OK
  5. Click Close
  6. Click Yes
  7. Click OK

Only ACT! Administrators are allowed to create and edit contact from ACT! to MDGP.

Cause 2
  1. If permissions do not resolve issue
  2. Insure "DataPlus.Plugin.MDGP.dll" is present in one of the following folders
    - C:\Program Files\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins\DataPlus 3.0\Components
    - C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins\DataPlus 3.0\Components
    - C:\Program Files\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins\DataPlus 4.0\Components
    - C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins\DataPlus 4.0\Components
  3. Windows permissions may have to be adusted for the b>"DataPlus.Plugin.MDGP.dll" file.
Cause 3
  1. If permissions do not resolve issue
  2. Windows permissions may have to be adusted for the b>"DataPlus.Plugin.MDGP.dll" file.
    - C:\Program Files\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins\DataPlus 3.0\Components
    - C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins\DataPlus 3.0\Components
    - C:\Program Files\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins\DataPlus 4.0\Components
    - C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins\DataPlus 4.0\Components
About DataPlus - Loaded Components
  1. In ACT!
  2. Tools/DataPlus 4.0/About DataPlus 3.0 or 4.0

    Loaded Components

  3. "Microsoft Dynamics GP Integration" should be listed.
Log Viewer
  1. In ACT!
  2. Tools/DataPlus 4.0/Log Viewer
  3. Click Erase All Logs
  4. Click OK
  5. Click Close
  6. Exit ACT!
  7. Execute DataPlus 4.0 Client Configurator (or 3.0)
Client: DataPlus Configuation Manager
  1. Check Log Warnings
  2. Check Log Log Notices
  3. Check Log Debugs
  4. Click Save
  5. Click OK
  6. Click Close
  7. Open ACT!
Submit Log
  1. In ACT!
  2. Tools/DataPlus 4.0/Log Viewer
  3. Click Copy All To Clipboard
  4. Submit to: Help Desk
  5. Click Close

After submitting log information, uncheck the "Loging Options" in Client: DataPlus Configuation Manager. Refer to line 25.
