dpCompanyAccess - Client Installation

PROGRAM: dpCompanyAccess 1.0
What you need prior to installation.
  1. Downloaded installer "dpCompanyAccessInstaller.zip" file from location provided.
  2. Extract "dpCompanyAccessInstaller.zip"
What you need for installation.
  1. Browse to:
    - ACT2009 if you currently have ACT! 2010 installed
    - ACT2010 if you currently have ACT! 2010 installed (also works with v17, v16, 2013, 2012, 2011)
  2. "setup.exe"
Approximent Time Table
  • 5 minutes - Documentation Review
  • 1 minutes - Approximent Time for Installation
  • 6 minutes - Total Approximent Time
dpCompanyAccess 1.0
Load Installer
  • Double click 'setup.exe'
    dpCompanyAccess 1.0
  1. Click on Next >
    License Agreement
  1. If you agree, click on "I Agree"
  2. Click on Next >
    Choose Location
  1. Choose the folder in which to install DataPlus 3.0
  2. Click on Next >
    Confirm Installaion
  1. Click on Next >
    Installation Complete
  1. Click on Close

Perform configuration if dpCompanyAccess 1.0, if you are using another language
dpCompanyAccess 1.0 language configuration
    Language Configuration
  1. Browse to "C:\Program Files\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins"
    - or location of your ACT! Installation
    - "ACT Installation Folder\Plugins"
  2. Edit file: dpCompanyAccess.xml
    Change Language (Sample)
    Change:
  1. Create Access List...
  2. access list
  3. company access
  4. Save dpCompanyAccess.xml
    Company Limited Access
  1. Choose 2 or more "Companies"
  2. Right click your mouse for "Edit Company Access" menu
  3. Click on Create Access List...
    Select Users and Teams
  1. Manage you "Limited Access" preferences
    Company Limited Access (Sample)
  1. Choose 2 or more "Companies"
  2. Right click your mouse for "Edit Company Access" menu
  3. Click on Create Access List...
